Austin – Construction is underway on the new Beckwith Electronic Engineering building in the Pflugerville, a suburb north of Austin.
Designed by architects at Michael Imbimbo Inc., the 10,500-square-foot building will house the Central Texas offices of Beckwith Electronic Engineering as the firm serves the rapidly growing market in and around Austin.
“We provided an economical solution with fundamental design principles to convey the modern, professional and technical aspects of this engineering firm,” said Lee Imbimbo, managing principal of Michael Imbimbo Inc.
Featuring a modern design in an affordably priced metal building with dramatic steel framing and glass features, the design combines creativity with functionality to stand out in the uniquely tech-savvy and proudly weird Austin market, according to the design team.
“At the same time, we wanted the building to convey a professional image to clients that Beckwith serves in commercial, multifamily residential, government, retail and healthcare sectors,” added Imbimbo.
Beckwith broke ground at the site in August 2015.
